Venesky-Brown's client, a public sector organisation in Holytown - North Lanarkshire, is currently looking to recruit 2x Admin Officer for a 3 month contract on a rate of £13.93/hour PAYE. The working hours for this role is part time Monday-Friday 08:00-12:00 or 12:00-16:00. Responsibilities:- Produce an administrative support service. - Respond to and handle routine correspondence and general enquiries in accordance with SEPA procedures and templates acting in a confidential manner. - Be responsible for input, maintenance and interrogation of records systems both manual and electronic. - Ensuring there is a record of who is in office and that all people sign in/out. - Issue visitors pass and ensure visitor knows that their pass should be visible when in the building and return it at end of the day. - Ensuring external visitors are met by an organisation contact who has responsibility for escorting them throughout the building. - Provide information to visitors and meeting organisers on what to do in the event of a fire alarm and if there are any scheduled tests do/don't require action. - Issue parking permits. - Deal with members of the public Receive deliveries to the front desk and contact delivery organiser to take them into possession. - Oversee/sign-out scheduled uplifts by courier. - Challenging anyone coming into the building who doesn't sign in, doesn't have a pass - ensure they don't leave the reception area unescorted. Supported by accessible/available managers in the building if any concerns. - Work closely with and supported by facilities and building caretaker (contractors and deliveries). - To open and distribute mail electronically. - To log and bank cheques.
