The role is highly valued, rewarding and contributing to the differences made to the local community, for families and children. This role provides administrative support to a front-line social work team. You will be part of a larger business delivery service, working with other agencies to enable social work staff to undertake accurate assessments and offer appropriate support. You will be working in a rewarding and fast paced environment, requesting checks or references from other agencies, note taking at meetings or group supervision meetings, formatting court reports and managing meeting administration.
We sit between business delivery and social work teams, which requires prioritising of tasks to meet business and service objectives, with a requirement to meet statutory timescales. Becoming part of business delivery in children’s services within a large organisation, offers further opportunities within Hertfordshire County Council.
