About The ServiceBryn y Deryn is a KS4 Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) for 80 learners who have behavioural, emotional and social needs and a centre for those that have Mental Health and Social needs.Bryn y Deryn had a very successful inspection and has been a ‘Green A’ category school for several years.
About the jobUnder the instruction/guidance of senior staff, provide general administrative/financial support to the school. Manage administration for the hospital tuition service.
What We Are Looking For From YouThe successful applicant will work as part of an admin team to help support learners with challenging behaviour and or mental health problems and be able to empathise with learners’ difficulties.This is an opportunity for persons who are hard working, flexible, self-motivated. You will need to have patience and be a creative problem solver and thinker.
Additional informationThis post is term time and will work 39 weeks per year. The salary shown however relates to 52 weeks per year and will therefore be pro-rata’d accordingly.This post is subject to an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check.Safeguarding and Child Protection are key priorities for the Council.
