, An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic individual to undertake the role of Administration Support Officer (Band 3) within the Specialist Palliative Care Team based at Singleton Hospital, Swansea. The service is made up of professionals including Consultants, Doctors, Clinical Nurse Specialists, Paramedics and Administrative Staff. , , As a member of the administration team you will ensure a high quality efficient administration service is provided to the service as a whole and the day to day running of the office. Excellent communication and organisational skills are essential., , Main duties of the job, , As an Administration Support Officer you will undertake the day to day administration running of the office. You will be the first point of contact for telephone queries to the office. You will be responsible for processing referrals in a timely manner, typing up clinical assessments/letters, scheduling appointments, printing/copying all general admin duties and inputting data on to the clinical systems and databases., , The role will require that you work in an established multidisciplinary team so you will need to be able to demonstrate good team working skills and behaviours, in addition to working autonomously being the sole admin team member based in the office along with other Health Care Professionals and be their first point of contact for admin support.  , , We are looking for an individual who is self-motivated, organised and flexible in approach, with demonstrable experience. You should have a proven educational background, educated to a vocational level 3 in administration or equivalent. Advanced computer / keyboard skills, experience and knowledge of Microsoft office packages.
