My client, a successful healthcare company near Kirkby, is looking to recruit an experienced Administration Team Leader to supervise their Administration team. Responsibilities:
Lead, motivate, and mentor a team of practice administrators, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient operations and high-quality service delivery.
Foster a positive and collaborative team environment, promoting continuous learning, professional development, and adherence to best practices.
Identify training needs and facilitate professional development opportunities for practice administrators to enhance their skills and knowledge.
Support Practice Operations Manager in the co-ordination of annual appraisals for practice Administration Team staff.
Conduct regular performance assessments, provide constructive feedback, and implement strategies to support individual and team growth
Collaborate with Practice Operations Manager to assess resource requirements and advocate for adequate staffing levels, ensuring the weekly rota is optimised.
Attend practice meetings to represent the practice Administration Team.
Encourage a culture of innovation, empowering team members to contribute ideas and solutions for enhancing practice administration services and patient outcomes.
Develop and maintain practice administration protocols, standard operating procedures, and documentation guidelines to ensure consistency and compliance.
Together with Practice Operations Manager, analyse data and generate reports on key performance indicators, providing insights and recommendations for enhancing practice administration services.
Serve as a point of contact for patients, addressing their concerns, providing guidance, and advocating for their needs within the healthcare system.
Skills Required:
Must have previous Administration/Supervisory experience in a Medical Practice (NHS)
Supervisory/management experience would be desirable
Knowledge of system administration tasks, including user management, security protocols, data backup, and system maintenance, to ensure the smooth operation and security of IT systems.
Possess a solid understanding of IT systems and demonstrate proficiency in using various software applications including EMIS Web or DOCMAN, Surgery Connect, PATCHs, AccuRx, ORCHA, Elemental - desirable
Hourly rate is £13.50ph, full time 37.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday (rota hours vary: 8am-4pm or 10.30am-6.30pm), pension, onsite parking, wellbeing programme, 25 days holiday + bank holidays
