Role - Administrative Assistant - Risk

Duration: 3 months initially

Location: Nottinghamshire

Hours: Full time, Mon-Fri

Pay Rate: £14.34/hr; Weekly pay; gross viaUmbrella including holiday

Venn Group has been contacted by a reputable public sector institution based in Nottinghamshire to provide comprehensive Administrative Support to team members. The post-holder will need to start immediately and will be relied upon to support the team within; Corporate Governance, Risks & Challenges, Declarations, Gifts, hospitality, Board reports, board management, Risk registers, DATIX.

Duties:

- Contribute to the control of risk and to report any incident, accident or near-miss

- Working effectively with word processing or equivalent, spreadsheets and databases

- Providing confidential and timely inbox management to senior team

- Comprehensive and effective diary management

- Change management and contribution to a positive image of the organisation

- Providing support to other administrative team members as and when required

- Broad knowledge of confidentiality and GDPR protocol/best practice

Requirements:

- Intermediate proficiency in MS Office: Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel, SharePoint

- Internet and basic database skills

- Great communication skills to appropriately deal with telephone enquiries, ensuring messages are passed on to the relevant team member as soon as possible, or direct the caller to the relevant team

- Keen initiative to deal with enquiries and develop the business

- Effective prioritisation of work and responses

- The post-holder should be aware There is an occasional requirement to travel across the wide footprint of the organisation to attend meetings and events relevant to the role
