Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm (37hrs per week)
We are looking for a dedicated Business Services Officer to contribute to the effective and efficient management and progression of cases. This role involves providing comprehensive administrative support to Family Court Advisors and Service Managers, ensuring smooth case progression and adherence to procedural requirements.
Day-to-day of the role:-Monitor case progression and provide timely administrative support.-Receive referrals from the court or intake team, creating, updating, and closing cases within the case management system.-Save relevant documents and ensure all case-related information is accurately recorded.-Send letters and information packs to service users, diligently following up on any missing information.-Perform telephone and reception duties, maintaining a professional and helpful point of contact.-Provide general administrative support as required by the team.-Participate fully in local and corporate meetings as necessary, contributing to the overall effectiveness of the service.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
-Proven administrative experience, preferably within a legal or social services environment.-Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.-Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.-Proficiency in using case management systems and standard office software.-Ability to work independently and as part of a team.-Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to data protection laws.
