Office Administrator
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Office Administrator to join our catering business in
Salford, Manchester. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing various administrative
tasks crucial to the smooth operation of our office.
This includes order processing, stock control,phone handling, and job scheduling.
**Key Responsibilities:**
1. **Order Processing:** Accurately inputting orders into our system, ensuring all details are correct
and promptly communicated to the appropriate departments.
2. **Stock Control:** Monitoring inventory levels, placing orders for stock replenishment as needed,
and conducting regular stock checks to maintain optimal levels.
3. **Phone Handling:** Professionally and efficiently managing incoming calls, addressing customer
inquiries, and providing information about our catering services.
4. **Job Scheduling:** Coordinating with our team to schedule catering jobs, ensuring all bookings
are accurately recorded and communicated to the relevant staff members.
5. **Administrative Support:** Assisting with general administrative tasks such as filing, data entry,
and maintaining office supplies.
**Requirements:**
- Prior experience in an administrative role, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in computer applications such as Microsoft Office Suite and experience with order
management systems is desirable.
- A proactive attitude and willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic work environment.
**Working Hours:**
- Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM (30 min lunch break)
