The Health & Social Care Pathway to Work (HALO) Team are looking to appoint an experienced administrator with customer service experience for a full-time Fixed Term position. The position will run until April 2025.The team support those that are looking to get back into health and social care employment.
This supportive environment helps people with interview skills and building confidence through virtual courses or getting people into training sessions face to face. They provide courses in moving and handling with the qualification at the end.Within this friendly small team of 3, your role will be to ensure that all candidates are registered on the internal systems, with all their vital information updated. You will be filing programme session plans to distribute to candidates each day as well as supporting the team by attending career and skills fairs to promote Halo Mid-South Essex programmes.Liaising with existing care providers/NHS recruitment teams, you will obtain current job vacancies, arrange care provider spotlight sessions for each programme across the different settings and promote current job roles.There will be a need to also take notes from Steering group meetings and to record responses at the end for programme polls, formatting spreadsheets for analysis purposes.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this position, you need to have great customer service skills and be comfortable talking to people that want to get into a new career. You will be regularly contacting candidates for feedback to help with service delivery. You must have administration experience, with the ability to prioritise tasks. As well as this, you will need great attention to detail and good organisational and interpersonal skills. There will be a need to be able to communicate effectively across all levels and be able to work to deadlines, establish good relationships with parents and other stakeholders, and be responsible for accurate and timely data input and tracking.
Previous experience of working in a fast-paced team and the ability to handle a multitude of tasks would be advantageous.Knowledge of Excel would be beneficial, but not essential as the team are on hand to help.This is a Fixed Term position. The post will finish in April 2025.
