Seven Resourcing are looking for a temporary SEND Support Officer to work in Plymouth. This position is initially for a period of 6 months and is paying £12.80 (PAYE) or £15.47 (umbrella) per hour. The working hours are Monday - Friday from 9am - 5pm.
The role:
Act as the SEND service first point of contact and work effectively with both internal and external stakeholders to gather relevant information and provide advice (This includes: Schools, New Devon CCG, Livewell, CAMHS, PHNT, neighbouring local authorities).
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the organisation and provision of administrative support for the service, including maintaining accurate records, scanning documents, preparing information for key meetings; such as the SEND and Post 16 SEND Panels, responding to and answering queries via phone and email, maintaining office systems, diary management, arranging and minuting meetings i.e. Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) annual reviews.
- Log, chase up, prepare and send a range of standard letters and documents as part of Education Health and Care needs assessment and EHCP annual review processes and accurately record that documentation has been sent.
- Receive emails and telephone calls for officers when they are out of the office, deal with queries in a timely manner and/or relay messages to staff as appropriate.
- Use ICT software packages to maintain accurate records e.g. Word, Excel, bespoke databases.
- Order office equipment, stationery and other office consumables in accordance with purchasing procedures.

Experience: 1+ year of experience within a similar role.
Compliance: Proof of ability to work and live in the UK. Current DBS and 2 x references.
Travel: Clean UK driving license with the ability to commute to and from work independently.
Hours: 37.5 hours p/w.
