We are looking for a computer literate individual with great attention to detail and the ability to prioritize based on daily requirements. The applicant should have good communication and be able to work as part of a Team.
Candidate will be working closely with the Warehouse and the Office to ensure jobs are booked on the TMS system in a timely manner and freight is labelled correctly and scanned to correct trailers. The role will also include working on customer portals, tracking freight, chasing POD’s, talking to customers and drivers and on some occasions assisting in loading and unloading.
Duties
- Processing paperwork and working on freight forwarding software
- Booking, Measuring, labelling, and scanning freight
- Updating customer Portals and spreadsheets
- Speaking to customers and drivers on the phone and in person
- Problem Solving and freight track and trace
Essential Requirements
- Experience with the Microsoft Office Package
- Experience in Warehousing
Desirable requirements
- Forklift Counterbalance licence
- Experience in freight distribution
- Experience in Loading and strapping
Education
Basic numeracy, Literacy and Computer skills
