Adults Advanced Practitioner - Community

Our Client, Bury Council, is seeking an Adults Social Worker to join their Community Team.

Responsibilities of this role:

• As Advanced Practitioner, you will be in a supportive role to provide guidance and oversight of complex cases. 
• Case handling / Managerial role - must have experience of a similar role (Level 3 and above) looking at complex issues. 
• Managing a small team of 2 QSW's and 3 Social Care Officers. 
• 36 IMC Beds - therapy led rehab for 6 week period - long term plans
• Complex discussions with families - discharge planning meetings inducing 24 hour care etc. 

Requirements of this role:

• Must be a Qualified Social Worker, registered with Social Work England.
• Must have minimum of 2 years’ experience.
• You must hold a recognised Social Work qualification (SW degree, DipSW, CQS,CSS or equivalent).
• You must have the right to work in the UK
