Are you looking to work with adults? Here is an exciting opportunity for you to work as Social Worker in Adult Safeguarding services.
The rate of pay would be up to £30 per hour and is based in Oldham.
Responsibilities of this role:
- To screen referrals, move cases through the system to the most appropriate team or person in the organisation and provide oversight and professional support to providers and partner agency colleagues.
- To work within the framework provided by statute, guidance, policies and procedures.
- To undertake safeguarding investigations and attend strategy meetings and MDT meetings to progress enquiries as necessary.
- Must be autonomous worker with sound knowledge of Care Act 2014 and all relevant legislation relating to adults with care or support needs.

Requirements of the role:
- Social Work England registered.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Social Care.
- Good knowledge of the Mental Capacity Act, Care Act and Safeguarding principles.
- Must hold a UK driving license.
