We're looking for an Advanced Occupational Therapist to join our team at The Portland Hospital currently rated "Good" by the CQC.
The Portland Hospital is the only private dedicated children's hospital in the UK. It has a 15 bed PICU covering general medicine and cardiac surgery. There are dedicated surgical and neuro-rehab wards where dietitians work closely with other members of the AHP teams to provide world class care. We have the only established private ketogenic diet therapy service for refractory epilepsy in the UK.
As one of Advanced Occupational Therapist, you will report into the Clinical Lead and act as a source of clinical expertise on the management of patients admitted onto the wards (including Neuro Rehab, PICU and NICU). This role is predominantly based in inpatients but there is the opportunity to cross over into outpatients as well.
The role involves providing specialist occupational therapy assessment and interventions to your own caseload of children with complex needs and work with the clinical lead to support the clinical development of staff and the growth and development of the service appropriate to the needs of the hospital. Therefore solid clinical, leadership and communication skills are required.

What you'll bring:
- HCPC registered
- Relevant Degree in Occupational Therapy
- Extensive Band 6 experience in paediatrics
- Further training and education in paediatrics
