Advanced Practitioner

Advanced Practitioner (ACP or FCP), Near Bicester

A GP surgery near Bicester is currently on the lookout for a permanent Minor Illness Practitioner (either an ACP or FCP) on a part-time basis (30 hours). Are you interested?

A forward thinking and caring practice are currently hiring a Minor Illness Practitioner on a part-time basis. Ideally, the successful candidate would work 30 hours a week (preferably Mondays/Tuesdays/Wednesdays/Fridays), but there is flexibility with this.

You would be an essential member of the team, and would be responsible for the following:

* Managing your own patient list,

* Assessing and triaging patients (both telephone and face to face),

* Covering triage on your designated day,

* Diagnosing and referring patients where appropriate,

* Managing undifferentiated undiagnosed conditions,

* Collecting pathological specimens,

* Performing physical investigations as required,

* And more!

For this role, the successful candidate would:

* Have prior Primary Care experience,

* Have experience with EMIS,

* Have the necessary qualifications for the role (e.g. Advanced Clinical Practice Masters, FCP Pathway),

* Feel confident working autonomously.

In return, the surgery is able to offer a salary of around £52,500 FTE (dependent on experience), 5 weeks annual leave (plus bank holidays), NHS Pension, Health & Wellbeing Programme and more! There is also parking on-site.

You would be joining a diverse team of GPs, Paramedics, Pharmacists, Nurses, HCA's and more to work through a patient list of 17,000. If successful, you would be looking to start work on 20th March 2024.
