Job description
The post holder will be required to work as part of the Community based Children’s Core Occupational Therapy Team. They will play a lead role in the development and support of this team and will work with children, young people and their families in a range of settings including clinic, home and school. The post holder will be expected to provide a high level of clinical expertise in the assessment, diagnosis and management of children and young people who are referred into the core Team. The post will have a strong emphasis on multi-disciplinary and interagency working and it is expected that they will develop a collaborative approach to the management of these children and young people. They will act as a source of expertise and provide an advisory, educational and consultative service to parents, teachers, other health professions, and appropriate other stakeholders. .
