The role covers anything that goes into the land, water, and air (including noise management) with environmental monitoring, incident response, and liaisons with internal and external stakeholders, including the Environmental Agency, community and local group representatives, NGOs, auditors, and trade associations.
You’ll also be working ahead of the curve with a forward-focus on continuous improvement opportunities where we’ll be looking for you to assist with helping us to become even more sustainable with our operations across production and our large-scale water processing facility (WPF).
We are a business that believes in development, with opportunities for you to progress and gain further qualifications.

  • Providing support and input to ensure that submissions in respect of Climate Change Levy (CCL) are accurately completed and submitted within required time frames.
  • Maintaining records and report on weekly or daily KPIs for permit and therefore site compliance.
  • Joining daily tier meetings and contributing to the conversation.
  • Providing support to utility, carbon and waste reduction opportunities, and annual plans with engineering & operations teams.
  • Building key external stakeholder relationships with staff, contractors, neighbours, regulators and interest groups.
  • Raising awareness of the pledges and KPIs to engage staff on sustainability across the site.
YOU’RE BEST SUITED FOR THE ROLE IF YOU ARE…
  • Educated to a degree level within a science or environmental management discipline or have relevant work experience.
  • Able to display an understanding of environmental legislation relevant to the site and operations.
  • Aware of ISO 14001.
