The company have been established since 2001, set up by an inspired team of highly experienced polymer engineers. Currently experiencing an increasing demand for their products and solutions, they are now looking to add a Mechanical / Aerospace Project Engineer to the team.
You will be responsible for managing projects from quotation through to delivery, covering a wide range of activities. This will include project management, production planning, client liaison, development of aftermarket products and providing ongoing maintenance and technical assistance.
The Role:
- Manage bespoke manufacturing projects from conception to product delivery, ensuring time, quality and cost targets are achieved
- Define process to be used for part manufacture, and produce planning used by manufacturing and suppliers to fabricate/assemble the product.
- Estimate tooling, material and labor to build assigned product per customer specifications
- Communicate with customers & suppliers to support quotations and resolve technical issues
- Support/Lead development of aftermarket products which improve performance and/or lower costs for end-user customers
- Provide on-going periodic maintenance and technical assistance or problem solving as required
The Person:
- Mechanical / Aerospace Engineer ideally with some exposure or experience in Polymers or Aerospace seals
- Experience in Manufacturing
- Proficient in CAD / mechanical design
- Ideally a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
