SalaryMain Duties
Our After school classes run with either 1 or 2 artists, to begin you would be placed in a double class. You will be required to lead the children through their programme of activities, Making sculptures, drawing, printing or painting, ensuring the children finish the class with well finished artworks, in a fun and relaxed setting.You will be making sure everyone is at the same level and giving examples, the crucial thing is managing the time as the classes are only an hour long. You will also supervise drop off and collection, and tidy up at the end of each session.
Skills and Experience Required
We require our staff to be artistic, fun, engaging and to have an interest in working with children.
For our After school classes, we expect our staff to also work at our holiday workshops, to ensure they are teaching in line with Arty Party’s standards.
Before you start working with us you will need to have an Enhanced DBS, (you can get this through us if necessary) it’s a form saying you’re fit to work with children! and a Level 2 safeguarding for children, which is a short 2 hour course online, (we can also set this up for you).
