Our client is a leading manufacturer of special purpose machinery and due to their continued success Staffbase have been appointed to recruit for the position of Aftersales Manager.
The Role:
Working closely with the customer service, technical & engineering and warehouse teams you will play a key role in driving improved service levels and improving efficiency within the aftersales process.
Key responsibilities will include but is not limited to the following;
- Manage the customer service team and aftersales function for the business
- Ensure effective routes of communications between clients and internal departments resulting in improved aftersales experience for clients
- Liaise with engineering teams and service managers to develop improved allocation of resources and service engineers
- Optimise opportunities for increasing aftersales revenue including spare parts, managing customer enquiries and generating quotations
- Effective management and control of warranty claims, customer complaints
- Undertake customer visits as and when required
Candidate:
We are looking for a a dynamic aftersales or Operations Manager ideally with previous experience in a machine servic, OEM or manufacturing environment.
Ideally you will have some form of engineering qualification NVQ / HNC and you will have a good technical mind.
You will have excellent people management skills and you will be capable of taking the lead in driving process improvements.
Hours of Work:
Mon - Fri 37.5 hours
