Assistant Managers x 2 (to start in April)
Location: Hastings
Responsible to: Hastings Shop Manager
Purpose: Support the Shop Manager with sorting, processing, pricing and merchandising stock in order to maximise shop floor availability.
Hours:
- 1 Manager @ 16 hours per week, 2 days out of 7, to include weekends and bank holidays on a rota basis.
- 1 Manager @ 24 hours per week, 3 days out of 7, to include weekends and bank holidays on a rota basis.
Salary:
- 16 hours a week – £9,642.88
- 24 hours a week – £14,464.32
Holiday: 5 weeks Holiday plus Bank Holidays (pro-rata)
Due to the expansion of our extremely successful Hastings Shop, Age UK East Sussex is looking to take on two new Assistant Managers, to support the Hastings Shop Manager and to lead the volunteer team. The expansion is planned to open by mid-April.
You will need to have experience of customer service, be well organised and have a background of achieving targets and maintaining high standards. You must be motivated to lead a team to maximise profits to support our charity.
Our Shop Managers and Assistant Shop Managers must have the ability to lead from the front, manage a diverse group of staff and volunteers and be proactively looking to further progress our business.
