Securities Lending is a dynamic department that works with partners across the HSBC Global Banking and Markets business to deliver Securities Lending solutions to clients.

We are currently seeking a high calibre individual to join the team in the role of Agency Lending Manager - Securities Lending & Liquidity Services

The group is looking for an Agency Lending and Liquidity Services Manager whose key purpose is to retain and grow the current book of business with the assistance of the sales team, ensure profitability and client satisfaction within the services provided by the HSBC Securities Lending & Liquidity department.

This is a fantastic opportunity to gain insight into not only Securities Lending but also treasury and liquidity products whilst managing your own portfolio of clients.

In this role, you will:  

•    Own and manage a client portfolio made up of UK based pension fund and European UCIT fund clients whilst also being responsible for periodic reporting, reporting programme performance and handling any day to day queries
•    Manage Securities Lending clients to build positive experience and service satisfaction to achieve client retention, as well as to enhance and protect existing revenue streams
•    Draft marketing material and project manage client onboarding with wider business functions in order to achieve smooth and speed to execution
•    Organise and conduct client service reviews to present on performance KPIs and opportunities
•    Be the client advocate within MSS and the Agency Lending & Liquidity Services department, challenging where appropriate from the client’s perspective and establishing strong and productive relationships with clients, ensuring current and future business requirements are understood and satisfied at all levels

To be successful in this role you should meet the following:

•    Solid understanding of the Securities Lending industry and relatable products such as repo, equity finance and/or custody is essential 
•    Ability to use both Excel and Powerpoint at an advanced level is paramount
•    Strategic and creative thinker who has exceptional analytical and problem solving skills
•    Good communicator, both verbally and in writing, with the ability to work in a pressurised environment and manage priorities effectively
