Agricultural Engineer

Thrive Group are delighted to be working with our prestigious Somerset based client who are looking for an Agricultural Engineeron a permanent basis.

What you will be doing:

In this key role, you will support the department in ensuring that equipment runs smoothly covering a range of duties including :

Key Responsibilities :

• Servicing tractors and other agricultural machinery
• Providing maintenance cover for dairy machinery from time to time
• Involvement in an interesting range of project work as and when required

What you will need to succeed:

• Experience servicing machinery such as tractors and forage harvesters is essential
• Servicing/Agricultural mechanics and welding qualifications
• Excellent communication skills at all levels
• Attention to detail and the ability to manage a variety of tasks
• Milking parlour servicing experience would be beneficial
• Due to the nature of the role, driving licence essential

What you will receive in return:

• £30,000 to £35,000pa DOE plus overtime
