An opportunity to play your part

AIOps ITOM Engineeris a highly skilled role within Enterprise Platforms and Services function, responsible for improving Operational Stability and Efficiencies by pioneering cutting edge Artificial Intelligence technologies, Machine learning and automation.

You will be working on establishing an Operational Data Lake platform enabling development of meaningful Analytics & Insights as well as Predictive Failure and Automated Incident Resolutions systems. You will utilise advanced understanding of customer usage profiles and platform behaviours to reduce operational costs, increase platform stability and agility, ensuring we retain, grow, and improve the value of the customer base.

Location: You can work in Windsor/home; we have people working all over the UK but also a range of office locations.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and employ practices of data insights and AI technologies across the data sets to produce meaningful information on trending and predictive operational health

  • Continuously learning and engaged with modern market technologies within the AIOps field

  • Working as part of a team of likeminded engineers that help increase IT reliability and performance

  • Working with support teams on to resolve issues in an automated "fix it once" manner

  • Designs and implements logical and physical data models based on technical and functional requirements

  • Conducting post-incident reviews and trend analysis, training AI models to alert/prevent future occurrences

  • Identify opportunities, formation of hypothesis and the undertaking of analytics and data science, research and investigations aligned to technology services

  • Evangelising Cloud and DevOps practices by openly and honestly showcasing capabilities, understanding the outcomes customers are seeking and forever searching for the most simple and elegant solutions

What we need from you:

  • Proficient in ServiceNow ITOM and its various components, including Discovery, CMDB, Service Mapping, Service Graph Connectors, Event Management, Agent Client Collector, Metric Intelligence, and Health Log Analytics capabilities.

  • Working experience in at least two of these monitoring tools (AppDynamics, DataDog, Azure Monitor, AWS CloudWatch)

  • SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle

  • PowerShell

  • Bash Scripting/Unix Shell Scripting

Certifications:
