Role OverviewIf you possess in-depth knowledge and experience installing commercial DX splits, multi-splits, splits, VRF/ VRVs, AHUs, Daikin, Mitsubishi Electric, MVHR and Samsung, then this role may be for you.
Responsibilities
Install, maintain, and repair Air Conditioning systems (DX, split, multi-split, VRV, VRF) in commercial environmentDiagnose and troubleshoot issues with Air Conditioning systemsPerform and troubleshoot issues with Air Conditioning systemsPerformance PPM and reactive maintenance to ensure optimal performance of systemsFollow schematics and layout drawings to properly install Air Conditioning systemsTest and inspect systems to ensure they are functioning correctlyRespond to service calls and perform repairs as neededTesting and commissioning Carry out / assist with preparing quotations for installationsCarry out / assist with plant and equipment procurementWorking with our clients around the UK, based from our offices in Milton Keynes, this Commercial AC & Refrigeration Engineer role will both challenge and enable you to grow in capability and confidence.
There is an excellent support network around you within our in-house teams whilst you get to grips with the job. We will of course test and challenge your abilities, but this will enable you to evolve and expand your range of skills and capabilities as you keep learning and evolving with the job.
You will be working with clients who are established industry icons as well as smaller Milton Keynes-based clients. UK travel and some overnight stays may be required, but many clients will be local to Milton Keynes.
This AC & Refrigeration Engineer role involves complex Design Build solutions to a diverse base of commercial clients. The projects are wide-ranging, from small works to £1m installations, so the challenges are varied every day.
You will be responsible for installing and maintaining varied mechanical systems, including direct liaison with our clients and their consultants as well as working closely with our Technical, Project Delivery, Procurement and Pre-Contract Teams.
This role would suit candidates with experience in the following areas: mechanical engineer, M&E, HVAC, aircon, refrigeration, design, project delivery, installations, plumbing, and H&S, and are willing to help grow our mechanical installation team.
