Air Hygiene Technician - M1 Corridor

£30000-£40000 + Van + Benefits

Leading Air Hygiene and Treatment provider who cover the UK are actively looking to grow their North territory due to a large number of established projects. Currently required is 2 Air Hygiene Technicians to work on a range of sites including Education, Health Care and other public sector locations

Due to the nature of the sites, applicants MUST be able to pass an Enhanced DBS check and have a stable career background.

Other skills and experience required

• 3+ years' experience in a similar role such as Mechanical Technician or Ductwork Technician
• Industry recognised qualifications including NVQ in Heating and Ventilation
• Experience in Ductwork and Fire Dampeners
• Full driving license
• Excellent communication skills with a high attention to detail and ability to work to project deadlines.

The work will enable you to work on 1 site a day and the aim (due to projects) is to have the work within 1 hour of your home location. Applicants must be willing to travel along the (North) M1 Corridor and key responsibility will include:

• Testing, Inspecting and Replacing fire dampeners and ductwork in line with PPM agreements.
• Attend training courses on other work covering HVAC.
• Undertake site surveys and produce detailed reports/job sheets and recommendations for future work.
• Working effectively as a pair with minimal supervision and ensuring health and safety standards are met.
