Our client is one of the top suppliers of testing, consulting, and assessment services to the UK building, remodelling, and development sectors. They are urgently looking for a trained Air Tightness Tester to join their team in the South East due to a significant increase in business.
Requirements:
- A firm understanding of building regulations and the construction industry.
- A good degree of numerical ability.
- A relevant qualification in Air Tightness testing and a functional understanding of test guidelines and regulations are prerequisites.
- Excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal.
- Familiarity with IT software packages.
- A valid driver's licence.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Communicating with stakeholders on-site.
- Gathering and evaluating test data and composing thorough reports.
- Giving remedial advice when and if tests are unsuccessful.
- Moving equipment from the lab to the testing location and assembling it.
- Organising and creating test procedures.
