Aircraft Stress Engineer

Aircraft Stress Engineers, do you want to join a Global Technological leader, who has been an established 'Go to' Engineering service provider, for over 60 years?

We are seeking Stress Engineers with proven experience of Aircraft structures or systems installations, Static stress or F&DT.

We need Stress Engineers with a solid understanding of structural load paths and typical failure modes.

A good understanding of Aircraft production methods and processes

Effective communication skills and a pro-active approach to problem solving.

Experience of PC and mainframe computer systems.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

• MEng / BEng Aeronautical or Mechanical Engineering Degree (or equivalent) preferred although any candidates with the right experience will be considered.
• A minimum of 5 years post qualification experience.
• A good command of technical English, both written and verbal, is essential.
• We are looking for sharp minded individuals, a solid understanding of lightweight structures and aerospace structural design is essential.
• Excellent PC skills are essential, including high level proficiency in word processing and spreadsheets.

Applicants must have the Current Right to Work in the UK (not seeking Sponsorship) and a background that will allow UK Security clearance to be obtained.

The Airframe Team are based in Filton, Bristol but Hybrid and Remote working is possible.
