Airport Mehanic

Red Sky are currently recruiting for an experienced Mechanic to join a growing team at Birmingham Airport. Working as a mechanic, you will be responsible for the servicing of all ground equipment airside. You must ensure all GSE (Ground Service Equipment) is maintained to a high level. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, diagnosis and repair on fleet, HGV & GSE vehicles.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Servicing, maintenance, and repair of GSE Equipment
• Complete all paperwork to a high standard.
• Providing a best-in-class customer experience for our business customers
• Comply with H+S Legislation
• Liaise with internal customers.
• Assist in carrying out all vehicle mechanical and electrical PPM (Planned and
• Preventative Maintenance) in line with set schedules
• HGV Mechanical experience

Package

• Hours- Monday - Friday 0800 - 1600
• 28 days annual leave plus bank holidays
• Pay- Starting salary of £39,000pa
• Overtime available (OTE £40 -£45k)

About you

• GSE experience (desirable)
• GSE or HGV mechanical knowledge
• 5-year checkable history in order to get an airside pass
• Able to pass a basic criminal record check.
