Our Airside Drivers are responsible for transporting freight between our Warehouses and the aircrafts, safely, securely and on time. Meeting customer requirements and following all security and safety regulations. Working in a time sensitive environment, dealing with multiple customers and meeting deadlines.
Your main responsibilities on a day to day basis will be:-
- Driving company and contracted vehicles to transport cargo between locations as required and within legal compliance.
- Loading and unloading cargo received for import and export.
- Delivery of mail and courier bags including heavy lifting of bags and loose bulk.
- Keeping company and contracted vehicles clean and tidy, reporting any mechanical problems.
- Breakdown reports.
- Following company processes and procedures to maintain security and health and safety compliance
To be successful in this role you will need:-
- Full driving licence and LGV2 licence.
- Certificate of Professional Competence.
- Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
- Flexibility to work shifts.
- Experience driving either Airside or Plant Machinery
- HGV License not mandatory
Please note that successful candidates will be subject to a background check including a criminal record check, 5 year employment history and a drug & alcohol test.
