Salary details: Grade 7, £25,969 - £28,665 pro rata (pay award pending)
Contract Type: Permanent, Part Time, 22.2 hours per week (0.6FTE)

Doncaster Council has made a firm commitment to tackling the Climate & Biodiversity Crisis, implementing a strategy aiming to achieve Net Zero Carbon by 2040. Whilst this will be a challenging target, we have a number of large scale initiatives aimed at reducing emissions, and a drive to implement these improvements across the borough.
The main focus of the post holder’s duties will be to take a key role delivering the Council’s Environment & Sustainability Strategy.
- To manage and deliver a borough wide Allotment Service across Doncaster on all sites that are owned by Doncaster Council - both direct and self-managed, delivering all aspects of the service.
- To ensure that the service is compliant with all relevant legislation and guidance and to encourage and develop community led solutions to the use and management of allotments sites.
