If so, we have a rewarding opportunity for you to join our team as an Alternative Provision Teacher at a Pupil Referral Unit in North Birmingham.
As an Alternative Provision Teacher, you will:
- Deliver engaging and tailored lessons to students with a range of learning needs, ensuring that the curriculum is accessible and challenging.
- Use your experience in handling challenging behaviour to create a positive and inclusive learning space. Apply effective strategies to encourage positive behaviour and support personal development.
- Work closely with students one-on-one or in small groups, providing extra help to meet their unique educational and emotional needs.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including support staff, to ensure a holistic and cohesive approach to student development.
To be accepted for the role of Alternative Provision Teacher, you must posess:
- QTS and relevant teaching qualifications
- A minimum of 6 months of recent experience working with students exhibiting challenging behaviour, preferably within a Pupil Referral Unit or Alternative Provision setting.
- The ability to be flexible and adaptable, able to tailor your teaching style to the individual needs of each student.
- Demonstrate a high level of confidence in implementing effective behaviour management strategies.
