We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Anti-Money Laundering Administrator. This role is crucial in supporting our commitment to robust AML processes and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
Responsibilities:As an AML Administrator, you will be responsible for:
- Administering the AML workflow within the case management system, processing new client file opening requests, and re-verifying existing clients.
- Providing guidance and advice to the business on money laundering queries, ensuring appropriate checks are conducted.
- Conducting identity verification and screening checks on clients, beneficial owners/related parties, and counterparties.
- Regularly reviewing sanctions, PEP, and watch-list matches and escalating as appropriate.
- Supporting the ongoing monitoring of clients and matters, including periodic reviews and reporting any concerns/suspicious activity to the AML Manager.
- Liaising with relevant stakeholders on potential AML issues, addressing technical and general queries.
What we are looking for:
- Experience within a similar Business Administration or Risk & Compliance role dealing with B2B checks.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complex legislation and guidance.
- Good academic ability to interpret rules and regulations, coupled with a practical common-sense approach.
- A team player with highly developed influencing skills and resilience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
Our office is based in Leeds and this role is offered on either a hybrid (min. 2 days per week in the office) or fully office-based basis.
