Anaesthetics SPR (Specialist Registrar)

Day Webster Recruitment Agency is currently seeking a motivated and skilled Anaesthetics Specialist Registrar (SPR) to join our esteemed medical team. Role and Responsibilities:

• Provide expert anaesthetic care to patients undergoing surgical procedures, ensuring optimal pain management and patient safety.
• Perform pre-operative assessments and develop individualised anaesthetic plans based on patient needs and medical history.
• Administer anaesthesia and monitor patients throughout surgery, adjusting dosage and techniques as necessary to maintain physiological stability.
• Collaborate with surgical teams, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless perioperative care.
• Participate in on-call duties and emergency resuscitation efforts as required.
• Contribute to audit and research activities to enhance anaesthetic practice and patient outcomes.

Requirements:

• Medical degree and full registration with the General Medical Council (GMC).
• Completion of core anaesthetic training and entry onto the Specialist Register (or equivalent).
• Demonstrated experience in providing anaesthetic care in a hospital setting.
• Excellent clinical and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
