We are looking for an experienced Analytical Chemist to join our client located in Southampton. We are looking for a strong team player, who has good experience within liquid chromatography and a desire to support, training and developing other members within the lab.
What will I be doing?
As an Analytical Chemist, you would be expected to be able to use HPLC (High Performance Liquid Chromatography) testing technique, authorising and revision of test SOP's, conduct all tests, analysing these and presenting findings when required, maintaining all equipment, completing system test checks, calibrations and more.
What do I need?
- A chemistry/chemical engineering degree is required.
- Previous analytical experience especially with liquid chromatography is needed.
- Experience with gas chromatography is desirable.
- Someone who is willing to gradually take on more responsibility and work towards a supervisory styled role.
- A team player who is eager to get stuck in on their own but also work closely as a team.
- A great mindset, positive attitude, and real keenness to get the work complete.
The Package: This role is paying up to GBP36,350 p/a depending on experience. Additional benefits include a 10% annual bonus, 25 days holiday, sustainability benefits, life assurance cover and much more
