Receptionist

This role is for 2 or 3 weekday shifts (9-7) plus every other Saturday morning (8.30-12.30)

The Peacocks Veterinary Clinic is an independent practice. We provide excellent services to our patients within the local community of Corsham. Our mission is to look after your pets like we would after our own. We have built an excellent reputation with the local pet owners since opening in 2021.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Animal Care assistant will help the vet nurses with the day to day running of the clinical practice. This will include kennel duties, stock control, cleaning, animal handling and more. When required, you will also be expected to cover reception and provide assistance with telephone answering, making appointment, seeing clients in and out, taking payments, cashing up and admin duties.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Must have a love for animals be, hands-on
• Client focused as well as patient focused
• Excellent oral communication skills
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment
• Ability to work well under pressure
• Ability to prioritize duties and projects
• Ability to work independently or as an effective member of a team

BENEFITS: Part Time - 2 or 3 weekdays 9-7 and every other Saturday morning 8.30am - 12.30pm; benefits include: Staff discount scheme, Paid Holidays (6.6 weeks incl. bank holidays)

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £11.50-£12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 per week
