Anti Social Behaviour Officer Grade 6
Description
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated individual to join our team as an Anti Social Behaviour Officer Grade 6. In this role, you will be responsible for taking proactive measures to prevent and manage anti-social behavior within our community. You will work closely with local authorities, residents, and other stakeholders to ensure a safe and harmonious environment for all.
As an Anti Social Behaviour Officer Grade 6, you will play a critical role in investigating reports of anti-social behavior, assessing their severity, and implementing appropriate interventions. You will be expected to handle sensitive and complex cases, and provide support and guidance to individuals affected by anti-social behavior. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate records, preparing reports, and collaborating with relevant agencies and organizations to address root causes and prevent further incidents.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with a strong understanding of relevant legislation and best practices in dealing with anti-social behavior. You should be able to work independently and as part of a team, with the ability to handle multiple cases simultaneously and prioritize accordingly.
Responsibilities
Investigate and assess reports of anti-social behavior within the community
Develop and implement appropriate interventions and strategies to address anti-social behavior
Provide support and advice to individuals affected by anti-social behavior, ensuring their well-being and safety
Collaborate with local authorities, housing associations, and other agencies to address anti-social behavior
Maintain accurate records and prepare reports on anti-social behavior cases and interventions
Work closely with community groups and organizations to prevent and raise awareness of anti-social behavior
Stay up-to-date with relevant legislation and best practices in dealing with anti-social behavior
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., criminology, social work)
Proven experience in a similar role, ideally within a community or housing setting
Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and procedures related to anti-social behavior
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish effective working relationships
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with the capacity to handle sensitive and complex cases
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong organizational and time management skills
Proficiency in using relevant computer applications and databases.
Hours Per Week: 35.00
Start Time: 09:00
End Time: 17:00
Pay Per Hour: £15.43
Location: Cardiff, Cardiff County
