We are currently working with a well-known, Semiconductor company, that focuses on developing cutting-edge sensor solutions, that offer accuracy, reliability, and efficiency for clients in the medical, automotive, industrial, and consumer applications industries.
With a focus on fluidic and mechanical integration, this role involves working with clients on how the sensor solutions can be applied to the client’s products. This is a technical and customer-facing role, showcasing the value of sensor solutions through validation test rigs, product demonstrators and so on.

- Salary circa £60k

The Role:
- Develop comprehensive understanding of customer needs for sensor solutions across various applications.
- Create and present application demonstrators showcasing the company’s sensor products.
- Validate company-based solutions through lab testing, emphasizing cost-effective mechanical integration and fluidic performance.
- Analyse customer-specific requirements and assist in the computational fluid dynamics mapping for fluidic design, ensuring seamless integration of company’s solutions.
- Support customers during evaluation, diagnosing problems, and collaborating on end-product integration solutions.
Essential Requirements:
- Degree in related field
- Analysing, designing and testing fluidic systems (Computational Fluid Dynamics), ideally using SolidWorks Flow, ANSYS or COMSOL
- Electro-mechanical fluidic design
- Experience with electronic hardware and firmware
Nice to have:
- Translate designs into physical prototypes by implementing them, for example, through 3D printing or machining
- Knowledge or experience in flow and gas sensing
- Experience in developing test software using Python, C, C++, C#, WPF, or Labview
