Job Title: Application / Enterprise Systems Manager
Location: Romsey, Gloucester or Woking – Hybrid.
As an Application / Enterprise Systems Manager, you thrive on managing / spearheading a team within an IT department, that contributes to the success to Roke.
As a Hands-On Application / Enterprise Systems Manager, you will have the responsibility for the operation and performance of the application portfolio maintained by the Enterprise Systems Team. 
You will offer both hands-on technical support, as well as offering team leadership in the form of developing the team members, setting objectives, training plans and managing workloads.
You will play a critical role in the success of our Microsoft 365 application estate and adoption into service of a suite of SaaS applications being implemented as part of a significant change programme

As our next Application / Enterprise Systems Engineer, you’ll be leader, with a high degree of technical expertise in some of the critical business applications/platforms maintained by the team, these include IFS, Dayforce, Boomi and the Microsoft Power Platform technology stack.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage a small internal team of application support specialists.
* Ensure the availability and reliability of business-critical applications, providing support within agreed SLA’s.
* Ensure all security/permissions measures are met and auditable.
* Plan and implement new deployments and planned outages.
* Develop documentation for support of deployed systems.
* Be a point of escalation and resolution for Incident and request management within SLAs.
* Manage a change framework across all Enterprise Systems, integration platforms and the M365 application estate.
* Deliver configuration, reporting, integration and modification change-requests into an evolving suite of evergreen SaaS systems.
* Work closely with SaaS and IPaaS vendors on patches and upgrades, ensuring production environments remain stable and stakeholders up to date with change.
* Identify and mitigate risks associated with the Enterprise Systems estate, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and security standards.
* Monitor the performance and stability of SaaS applications and integration solutions collaborating with end-users and support teams to address any issues promptly.
* Own and maintain Enterprise Systems documentation, including any relevant policies. Ensuring all processes, configurations, change requests, testing outcomes, and implementation plans are documented comprehensibly.
* Spearhead and, at times, assist team members with varied systems-admin and configuration duties across a broad system landscape.
* Engage with business units and support functions, to capture, specify, prioritise and delivery system improvements in line with normal business change plus Operational Excellence and IT continuous improvement initiatives.
* Steer the development of an IT training service, ensuring best value from investment in enterprise and specialist software applications.
* Participate in the work of the IT management team, contributing to the continuous improvement of the department and acting as a role model to other IT team members.

The Key Requirements...
* Proven experience in managing enterprise SaaS applications, particularly in a manufacturing or project-accounting environment. Familiarity with IFS is highly desirable.
* Strong understanding of change management principles and experience implementing change management processes for enterprise IT systems - Solid understanding of relevant ITIL practices * A high level of experience with M365 office productivity tools
* Proven experience of managing / Supervising a team of Applications / Enterprise systems engineers.

ROMSEY - Alongside hybrid and flexible working options, you’ll find our Romsey site located within beautiful Hampshire countryside, close to the picturesque New Forest District and not far from a superb stretch of the south coast. This is no corporate concrete jungle; this is a manor house site, with ample parking an on-site gym and a driveway full of daffodils in the spring.
WOKING - Alongside hybrid and flexible working options, you’ll find our Woking site in a modern building on the outskirts of London. Rated excellent for sustainability by BREEAM & Fitwel certified – you’ll feel better for visiting. This site provides key links to our customers in London, is a 5 minute walk from the train station, has secure parking nearby and dedicated cycle storage.
GLOUCESTER- Alongside hybrid and flexible working options, you’ll find our Gloucester site in a business park two minutes from junction 11A of the M5; The site allows easy access to our local customer base. Set on the outskirts of the Cotswolds, you are never far from a picturesque view or lunch time walk.
