We are seeking a Principal Cyber Security Engineer to serve as our API Security champion and lead our efforts to secure digital interactions across our enterprise. Skills Required:
- Extensive experience in designing, implementing, and securing APIs in diverse technological environments.
- Strong understanding of OAuth, JWT, and other authentication and authorization mechanisms used in API security.
- Proficiency in API gateway solutions and API management platforms (e.g., Apigee, AWS API Gateway).
- Expertise in threat modeling and vulnerability assessment of APIs, with a focus on OWASP API Security Top 10.
- Ability to collaborate with development teams to implement security controls and best practices throughout the API lifecycle.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and drive security initiatives at all levels of the organization.
