Avanti Recruitment are currently partnering with a Software Company based in Warrington that creates enterprise products dealing with millions of Data Subjects and large organisations. They are now looking for an Application Support Analyst to join the team.
The company have been growing well and investing heavily in the IT team. The business prides itself on working with some of the latest technology.
They work out of a nice office based on a campus that includes a gym, restaurants, parking and more. The expectation is to come into the office at least 3 times a week.
In this role you will:
- Respond to incidents via the service desk.
- Diagnose and report issues, using SQL.
- Collaborate with teams for issue resolution.
- Ensure service level agreements are met.
- Create knowledge articles and test defect fixes.
- Support internal processes and manage AWS infrastructure.
Required Skills:
- Strong T-SQL/MySQL
- Web technologies, Microsoft Server.
- API awareness.
- Application and performance monitoring.
- Technical infrastructure knowledge.
- User and data security understanding.
- Bachelor's degree or 3+ years of similar experience.
- Excellent communication.
- Problem-solving, attention to detail.
- Client management.
Desirable Skills:
- Consent Management, ITIL.
- MS Office, SharePoint, Azure DevOps.
- Linux, PowerShell, Python.
- AWS understanding.
The role requires mandatory out-of-hours support on a three-week rotation, and you will receive additional compensation. You'll be paid an extra £250 per week during the out-of-hours support period. There are limited out-of-hours calls at around 5 a month. Out-of-hours support is done remotely with no expectation to go into the office.
Normal Support Hours (2 Weeks): 09:00 - 17:30 (with a 1-hour lunch break)
Out of Hours Support (1 Week): 13:30 - 22:00
Salary for this role is £38-43k + an extra £11-12k a year out of hours allowance.
