Applications Consultant
Location: Glasgow - Hybrid working
Salary: £51-64K (up to 15% Performance Bonus + Healthcare)

We're looking for an Application Consultant, to provide expert advice and guidance on the design, development, implementation and maintenance of IT applications that support the business transformation objectives of digital projects.
What you'll be doing
The Applications Consultant works closely with project managers, business analysts, end users and external vendors to ensure that the IT applications meet the functional and non-functional requirements of the business, as well as adhere to the relevant standards, policies and best practices across the Iberdrola group.
In this role, you'll contribute to the continuous improvement of the IT applications portfolio, by identifying and proposing enhancements, upgrades, integrations, and innovations that can deliver value to the business and its stakeholders.
A key part of this role is to create and maintain the models, templates and frameworks that will be used by the rest of the team in the implementation of the business requirements. You'll be responsible for working within the framework of IT applications which includes, Data Analysis solutions, Customer Service Digital solutions, and other Emerging Digital technologies.
This role will initially be dedicated to SPT projects.
What we're looking for
Experience of Solutions Application Design.
Experience of design modelling and document management tools
Experience of Building Information Modelling (BIM) methodology is preferred
Experience in collaborating with various external providers, to complete proof of concept exercises and run innovation projects.
Highly developed problem solving and delivery skills with the ability to analyse complex issues, recommend appropriate solutions and manage projects to delivery these.
Excellent communication skills, with an ability to distil technical issues into a form that can be digested by non-technical managers.
Ability to build effective relationships with key stakeholders locally and globally.
