SME sized precision engineering business, part of a global group, are looking for an experienced Applications Engineer to join their team and help with new and existing applications.

Due to expansion, this is a newly created role and will be instrumental in bridging the gap between sales and the engineering function working on product applications. With a focus on the energy transition markets, the content of the role will see you working at the forefront of new technology developments for special purpose machinery that will make the world a cleaner place for all

You will be fully up to speed with operators, oems and machinery builders and be able to communication with all levels , shop floor to board level on long term partnerships with the client.

To be considered you will have:

Product design, development or RnD experience of mechanical components

A solid materials applications knowledge

A good commercial grounding to understand what is likely to be a commercially viable product
