Responsibilities for the Applications Engineer:
- Compile technical documentation in response to client requests and tenders.
- Collaborate closely with design engineers, costing engineers, production, and the shop floor to ensure accurate and precise documentation.
- Play a pivotal role in ensuring that documents meet client requirements and are delivered right the first time.
- Get involved in customer visits to understand technical requirements and discuss proposals, fostering strong client relationships.
Requirements for the Applications Engineer:
- Background in Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience in compiling technical documentation.
- Proficiency in CAD software is advantageous.
- Ideally coming from a machine manufacturing or special purpose machinery environment.
