SalaryAn exciting opportunity has arisen for a European Technical Applications Engineer - Photonics/Lasers/Optics based in Germany to join this world leader in Photonic Engineering and Manufacturing Services.
Operating globally, this European Technical Applications Engineer - Photonics/Lasers/Optics will be instrumental in the development of business at key customer accounts in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Netherlands and Belgium. You will act as both the technical and commercial liaison between the customer and engineering teams as well as identifying and nurturing opportunities to win and grow company sales in Europe.
Remote based candidates can be located anywhere in Germany, with 30% travel to customer sites.
Key skills and experience required for European Technical Applications Engineer - Photonics/Lasers/Optics:
- Significant experience of technical applications / sales in photonics
- Relevant European experience
- Strong understanding of photonics, semiconductor, laser, or optical components
- Degree qualified in a related discipline
- Strong commercial acumen and communication skills
