The purpose of this role:
As an Applications Engineer, you ll bridge the gap between departments, providing customers, the sales team and service engineers with vital support and assistance relating to the correct application and use of the company s product range.

As Applications Engineer, you will:
- Provide technical advice across internal departments, as well as support to customers.
- Communicate your expertise of the company s product range, how the systems operate and their end-use.
- Act as a technical backup for the company s customer service and sales teams, potentially travelling to customer sites to ensure ease of use and application of the systems.
- Provide advice on the selection, installation and use of the company s systems against customer requirements. As well as assisting with troubleshooting issues.
The successful Applications Engineer will:
- Have practical knowledge of commercial heating and/or water systems.
- Be experienced in the manufacture, installation and/or maintenance of mechanical systems such as hydraulics, pumps, and heaters.
- Be an effective communicator, with experience liaising across departments and delivering customer service.
- Have a technical mindset, with the ability to maintain a depth of product knowledge and communicate technical advice in a clear and concise manner.
