The Saint John Southworth Catholic Academy Trust is seeking to appoint an Apprentice Chaplain.
The successful applicant will undertake training with St Mary's University, Twickenham, for 20% of their working time alongside support, formation and on-the-job training from the SJSCAT and the Diocese. The Apprentice will be based at the Cardinal Vaughan School, West London, but will work closely with staff and students from both primary and secondary phases. They will undertake a course of academic instruction alongside their work - with an external end point assessment. Successful completion of this qualification will result in a Certificate of Higher Education as a Children Young People and Families Practitioner. Time will be allocated to attend lectures and to complete work towards the qualification.
Although the Apprentice Chaplain will visit and work with a number of schools, this role will be based at the Cardinal Vaughan School in West London.
