Apprentice CNC Production Operative
Pertemps Stoke are currently seeking an enthusiastic individual who would be interested in training as CNC Production Operative, our client based in Stoke-on-Trent has a fantastic opportunity for someone to learn and use computer technology , CAD and modern programming software in the manufacturing of bespoke products.
This is a role with good progression opportunities that progresses through several stages
As an Apprentice CNC Production Operative you will be introduced to:
" Introduction to basic operation of CNC machines
" Basic set ups of CNC
" Use of fixtures and jogs
" Tool technology and care
" Understanding of cutting principles
" The use of CAM software
" CAD Software to draw parts and features
" Experience of various CNC Machines
Main duties of the Apprentice CNC Production Operative role:
" Loading CNC Machines and semi-automatic machines (Training provided)
" Changing machine programmes
" Changing fixtures and jigs over
" Duties involved in the production of CNC components
" Timber preparation

" Diligent with paperwork ensuring it is completed correctly

What this Apprentice CNC Production Operative has to offer:
" Hourly rate - £8.60PH-£11.44PH (DOA)
" Location: Stoke-on-Trent
" Monday to Friday 08:00-16:45
" Free onsite parking
" 20 Days holiday + Bank holidays
