Role description:

Our Apprenticeship programme offers you an exciting opportunity to jump straight into the professional world and earn a living whilst also studying for professional qualifications. As an Apprentice you will play an active part in driving your career development and will be exposed to a variety of projects across the business. Technical experience is key in our sector, which is why we will provide you with a clear framework to work towards chartership. You’ll be part of a supportive Early Careers community and will work alongside skilled professionals. You’ll benefit from structured on-the-job training, mentoring, plus funding and support for accreditations relevant to your programme, as well as the assistance you need to develop and succeed.

Role accountabilities:

Working across different sectors you will join an expert team managing some of the largest projects in the built environment sector. The post holder will join Arcadis’ Assured and Data Led team, who bring digital innovation to transform the way we deliver projects for our clients. The role will cover all stages of the project life cycle, from feasibility, design, construction, handover and into operation.

On this apprenticeship you will complete the BSc Data Science Standard with Keele university. This is delivered on a block release basis.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Be a UK/EU/EAA resident for at least three years prior to starting the course and have the right to work in the UK.
  • 18 years old and have left full time education when the apprenticeship starts.
  • Have gained a minimum of 4 GCSE qualifications, grade 4-9 Including Maths and English and 3 A-Level, or equivalent qualifications at grade BBC minimum.
  • You will demonstrate typical Arcadian skills including Resilience, Creativity, Analytical Thinking and being a Team Player.
  • You will have excellent communication skills and the ability to use your technical knowledge to influence and consult stakeholders.
  • Willing to travel and stay away from home when required (where possible we embrace virtual working).
