Bupa Dental Care Dundonald, led by Practice Manager Kathryn Mercer, is seeking a dedicated Trainee Dental Nurse to join our dynamic team. This full-time position offers 34 hours per week, with flexible scheduling for a balanced work-life routine:

️ Schedule:

• Monday: 9:45 AM - 7:15 PM
• Tuesday, Thursday, Friday: 7:45 AM - 5:15 PM

We offer a diverse range of private and NHS dental treatments in a modern, bright building located in Dundonald, County Down.

Location: Unit 3 & 3A, Moat House Upper Newtownards Road Dundonald

Conveniently situated near the Ulster Hospital, library, and health center, just a short 20-minute drive from Belfast.

Transportation: Take the G1 glider from Belfast City Centre, or enjoy free on-street parking if you're driving.

Our Dental Nurse Apprenticeship will support and provide you with the necessary Knowledge, Skills and Behaviours on your journey to becoming a GDC registered qualified Dental Nurse. This includes;

• Enabling you to provide the best patient care from the moment someone walks into one of our practices until the point they leave.
• Supporting our Dental professionals, and providing them with the necessary chair-side assistance, enabling them to deliver the highest level of patient care.
• Working as an Apprentice Dental Nurse means you can "earn whilst you learn".

You will achieve a Level 3 qualification following an 18-24 month training programme. Before taking your end-point assessment, you must achieve level 2 English and Maths (equivalent to GCSEs at grades A to C) if you have not already achieved them and can provide evidence confirming this.

• Oral anatomy and physiology, respiratory and circulatory systems.
• How infectious diseases are transmitted and prevented.
• Dental materials, equipment, and resources.
• How to deal with medical emergencies.
• Legislative compliance and regulatory requirements.
• Clinical skills.
• Health promotion.
• Patient care and management.
